Graduate Students

Are you a highly-motivated scientist that has excelled academically and in research?

We are located in Calgary, the most livable city in North America. It's just an an hour away from the iconic Canadian Rocky Mountains with their endless outdoor terrain. There is also fantastic dining and culture.

Trainees at all stages will have the opportunity to be a primary author on published peer-reviewed manuscripts, participate in national and international field-work, as well as gain experience in translational integrated physiology and neuroscience. Trainees at the graduate or undergraduate level interested in these areas of research are encouraged to send their CV and a letter of interest to Lisa Mesluk: lmesluk@ucalgary.ca

There is extensive support to progress your career/training. These include numerous fellowships, travel/publication awards, and opportunities for professional development. The Phillips Lab has a strong track-record of trainees securing these awards. Some examples appear below.
